You can upload a video clip as a thumbnail manually for any current content set in the member's area.
You'll want to make sure:
- The video has no audio
- The video is in MP4 format
- The video is sized correctly for your templates
- Your templates have the default code for displaying( we do not offer template customization services but you can refer to the default template code in our free default templates.) All current version s fo the templates are located here:
https://cs.elevatedx.com/newest_templates.php
- You do not embed too many clips as the P14 image as this will cause page load bloat on your page and slow down the user experience if the videos are set to play when loaded. We recommend that they are only used for the animation thumbnail positionsP20-26, not the P14 positions.
When you go to the thumbs admin area under content sets, you'll see an option for "upload thumbnails". Note the thumbnail position of the thumbnail you want to upload a movie for. For most, it will be "Position 20". Click the link to "upload thumbnails". You'll see the following screen:
<< thumbnail image >>
Click the option for "Upload Preview Movie" and choose the video file you want to upload from your local machine. Lastly, select the position you want to upload the movie to. Position 20 is a good choice as it is the first animation thumbnail position when the mouse is over the video. Upload the video and you should be good to go.
