Creating a Test User For Your Site Print

We strongly recommend that you create a test user for your site. This way, you can log in to your site and preview your content to make sure it displays properly to your members. To create a test user:

  1. Navigate to the Settings gear in the top right corner of the admin panel
  2. In the dropdown menu that appears, click "Users"
  3. On the Users page, click "+ Add New Entry"
  4. Fill in the username, email address, and password for your test user
  5. Click the "Show All Updates" checkbox in the "Development Staging Features" section, and click "Save Changes" when finished
  6. On the Users page once again, click "Edit" next to your test user
  7. Scroll down to the "Membership Settings" section, and click the "Full Member" checkbox
  8. Click "Save Changes" when finished
