Adding a "Complaint/Content Removal" link to your website footer Print

To help clients meet VIRP requirements for credit card processing compliance we are providing the ability to quickly add a link and form website users can use to submit a complaint or content removal request submission:

Step 1). Under the "custom pages" plugin of your admin panel,

Click the “Add a new entry” button.
Make sure to use the following Title:   Complaints / Content Removal

(It must be named exactly as written or the link will not work)

Check the options to show on tour and members' areas"

Paste the text between the - - - below,  into the custom page content area and then click “Save Changes”:

Make sure to Click "Save Changes".

2) Under the template fields plugin admin:

Click Manage and then select the tour area you want to add the link to.
Then use the search box to search for “feedback” and locate the template field for ‘feedback1’.

Click the "edit" button for the feedbacklink1 entry.

Add this line of code (without the - -  - ) to the end of the line and save with the “All areas with that template name” option

You should see the changes now on the footers of your website pages.

* If you don't have a "feedbacklink1" template field, you can search for the text on your footer ( e.g- "terms" ) to find what template field name your system is using.
** If you have custom templates and your coder did not use template fields, please open a ticket and we will try and help you get this added.
