* This document is updated as we identify common questions from clients
1: What’s the percentage breakdown of affiliate and website owner?
A:This is entirely up to each site owner. By default, the Nexus system is installed using a standard percentage payout of 50% for initial sales and rebills. The system can be set to allow different percentages for either or both, as well as to not offer any payout on rebills. Additionally, the system also offers an option for a flat rate dollar amount to be paid per sale (PPS) instead of a percentage.
Affiliate payouts can be set on a per-offer level, but can also be overridden per-affiliate to give a specific affiliate a custom payout.
2: Does the affiliate take a percentage from rebills?
A: See above. By default, yes. You may change this as needed via the Nexus admin panel.
3: How long does the affiliate last for new subscribers?
A: to avoid committing what may be considered by many affiliates to be fraud or theft, the system pays rebills for the lifetime of each referred subcsriber.
4: Can I join as the affiliate to gain additional income from other Elevated X websites?
A: Yes, you can signup to any ELX Nexus program from any Elevated X website operator who is using Nexus and allows affiliates to signup. You can also enter into and negotiate trade deals to trade member area banners, content, or (as long as payment processors and banks allow it) trade pre-checked signup page cross-sells to trade joins with an agreed upon payout for sending signups this way.
5: Where is the affiliate program advertised?
A: Most sites accepting affiliates will have a link at the footer leading to a page with information and a link to their Nexus program for signup. As of now, where each site operator chooses to promote or announce their affiliate program is entirely up to them, and not something handled by Elevated X.
